February 1 Show and Tell

After the monthly business meeting, guild members displayed their recent quilts.

A comfort quilt which will be donated by the guild to a local social service agency.

Connie made several quilts to donate to the guild's Teddy Bear Tea and  comfort quilt projects. More are shown below.



Connie made this king size quilt plus several of the small quilts from blocks won by her in the Fairbanks guild drawing.

Gail shows a Teddy Bear quilt which she made.

Jeanette completed a UFO--UnFinished [quilt] Object. Guild members have been challenged to set a goal for completing their UFOs before August.

Jeanette finished an old needlework project as a small quilt.

Jeanette made this small quilt for the Teddy Bear Tea project.

Linda made this quilt with mini boxer shorts for the Salvation Army's Trash to Treasures challenge.
Linda's memory quilt has blocks with photographs from her mother-in-law's 7th grade sampler notebook. Linda's husband photographed the pages which Linda printed on photo sensitive fabric. One of the pages is shown below.



This is another quilt which Linda made for the Salvation Army's Trash to Treasures challenge.

Lynne made this Teddy Bear quilt.

Lynne completed a UFO.

Ruthe asked guild members for advice about adding borders to this quilt top.

January 18, 2018, Show and Tell

Nellie sewed the binding on this colorful Comfort Quilt.
This bright quilt is also a Comfort Quilt.
Regina showed this Comfort Quilt made in muted colors.
Jeanette made this Teddy Bear quilt from a pattern that she had been wanting to try. She used Joan Ford-inspired scrap squares.

Lynette helped tie this cozy looking Comfort Quilt.

Lynette and her daughter have been making toiletry bags which they fill with items and donate.

Marilyn's floral quilt is intended as a gift.

Pat made this small quilt in a Kept in Stitches lesson on creating three-dimensional pinwheels.
