May 17 Show and Tell

Lynnette started this hand-appliquéd quilt in 1999 before her granddaughter was born. Now it is her granddaughter's graduation gift.

Marie's friend gave her this afghan to brighten her spirits while Marie was battling breast cancer.

April 5 Show and Tell

ALCQ guild members have been busy finishing UFOs, creating cute quilts to go with stuffed animals to the Teddy Bear Tea for distribution to social service agencies, and making quilts to donate to the small quilt auction held at the September quilt show. Members also have made comfort quilts. The committee recently distributed 201 quilts of various sizes to the Anchorage community.
