A Note From Ireland:

Hello from Ireland,
I just wanted to ask you if you could pass on a message to the many lovely ladies I met at the Quilt show in Anchorage last September.
My husband and I were on vacation (didn't I plan that well?) and spent a couple of wonderful days at the show. I did manage, after much nail biting and praying, to win two small quilts on the silent auction which hang proudly in my house as wonderful souvenirs of our visit.
Those ladies that I met there were so helpful and eager to answer any questions I had and one even gave me her cell phone to call the maker of a quilt I was interested in buying. All in all it was a great experience and since we returned I have shown my quilting friends the fabulous quilts that I photographed while there.
Please convey my thanks to everyone concerned and I am a regular viewer to your website.

January Comfort Quilt Day

Hi everyone

We had a great time last Thursday and we accomplished a lot. A big thank you to all of you that came and also to those who brought food.

We have quite a few quilts that need to be quilted - all sizes - from lap to a king, so if you can help with that it would be greatly appreciated.

We also have kits made up, so if you want something to work on, just let us know. Some are simple and some a little challenging. Oh yes, lots of blocks made up of those 2", 2 1/2" and 3" squares that are just begging to become quilts.
