What is a Community Quilt?
The Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters are giving away fabrics to be made into quilt blocks by members and the public. The quilt blocks will be collected and stitched into a quilt in 2017. The creator of each block will be entered in a drawing to win the quilt.
How can I win?
Create a quilt block in any pattern or style measuring 6 1/2” square (6” finished) with the fabric enclosed. Use at least two of the pieces enclosed. How much and the shape of each piece is up to you. You may add other fabric or use the other pieces enclosed.
Return the completed block to the Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters by December 15, 2016 with the form below completed. Return the block and form in person at an upcoming Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters meeting or mail the block to: P.O. Box 20258, Anchorage, AK 99520.
