Carol Wight Jones was selected as the 2015 Featured Quilter for the Great Alaska Quilt Show. Carol began quilting in 1965. She excelled in all that she did; however, she was noted for her needlework appliqué and embellishment with stitching and beading. Carol's work won many honors and was featured on the cover of Quilters Newsletter Magazine. We guild members, her friends, and her family were sad that Carol lost her battle with cancer in December, 2014. The photos below show Carol's varied and outstanding workmanship.
