August -Daytime Show & Tell

All of the above small quilts were made by day-group members, started at the July day program given by member Carrie P.

Below were all of the show & tell. I apologize for not having any more information, but the camera lady was taking pictures while holding a 3 month-old baby, & didn't have a 3rd hand to take notes.

Ruthe finished this found block into a small auction quilt.
The red/white & blue quilts are service quilts for Quilts of Valor.

Lavonne DeBore visited.

New member Shirley showed here yo0yo vest,

& donated this quilt for the small quilt auction.
Marilyn G. donated the for the SQ Auction.
Rachel K brought some of her Mexican embroideries, transformed into quilted pillows & wall hangings,
along with 3 mo/old grandson Jack. He was sooo cute!

Elaine F. did some hand crochet while recovering from surgery,

& made some tiny quilts, for babes in bags.

Sandy Winfree has been doing her own stencil cutting, then paintings on fabric, & turning them into wall hangings to sell at the Christmas bazaar.

This young quilter came with Barbara C. & made the quilt she is showing above.
Barbara is make these Christmas pillows. She said she only has 9 more to go.

Mary L. made & quilted this quilt.

Click on the image below to see the quilting better.

The last 3 quilts (shown by Kay B) ,were donated by Margaret G, for the small quilt auction.

I absolutely love all your quilts and the jackets, your group is amazing. Please check out my blog at http://www.quiltingranny.blogspot.com and our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Aurora-Colorado-Emergency-Responder-Quilts/401592493230782
We are raising quilts for Aurora Colorado first responders, the 12 families who lost members and the wounded. We would love to get a quilt from Alaska. Quilts go directly to Aurora and not me!
