May 17 Show and Tell

Lynnette started this hand-appliquéd quilt in 1999 before her granddaughter was born. Now it is her granddaughter's graduation gift.

Marie's friend gave her this afghan to brighten her spirits while Marie was battling breast cancer.

Mary H's friend gave her this wall-hanging.

Mary H made this wall-hanging to practice doing sashiko.

Kathy showed this quilt which Mary L. made for Quilts of Valor.

Nancy showed a quilt made by a group to which she belongs. The pattern is "Paper Beads".

Nancy made her jacket using her own hand-made fabric. At the June program  meeting, Nancy will give a presentation about dyeing fabric.

Rena made a colorful cover for her sewing machine using scraps from a project she had finished.

May 3 Show and Tell

Glenda's wall-hanging--"Into Every Dog's Life Some Cats Must Fall"--is her quilt for the guild's row quilt challenge.

Barbara made this comfort baby quilt from a panel.

Barbara quilted this comfort quilt donation that Winnie had pieced.

Barbara showed a fabric bag which she had made.

Betty R. finished this UFO--unfinished quilt object.

This tea pot quilt will be donated to the small quilt auction.

Jeanette continues to use her stash to make small quilt for the guild's auction. She and her husband will be full-time RVers  this month.

New member Linda M. made this quilt titled, "Florabella Blossom."

Linda P. made Halloween quilts for her grandchildren's dorm rooms.

These jeans "bulletin boards" are for Linda's grandchildren.

Linda used 1930's fabric for the map quilt. Her husband has travelled to all 50 states.

Marilyn had fabric left from the guild's celebration of the Anchorage centennial. She used it to make these gifts for  committee members.

Peggy's quilt reads, "Never underestimate the power of one quilter and her sewing machine."

Robyn awed us with this quilt made of Minke fabric. Her granddaughter will enjoy cuddling under it.

Rosemary finished a UFO.

Ruth created this jacket in a class. It's even lined.
