Feb 3 Hat Day

We had a hat day meeting in support of Jan Wills.

Teddy's & their friends were beginning to gather, for the tea coming in 2 weeks.

Members made blocks from the fabric given to them at the last meeting. Viewer's were asked to vote 3 times for their choices. We were given 3 beans each to cast out votes into the cups on the blocks.

Margaret, Jetta, Susie, & Pam's blocks were the 4 top choices.
Carol brought 2 "Teddy" quilts,

& a jacket she made from a sweat shirt
for her show & tell.
Jetta made a quilt for a duck, but a frog jumped on it instead.

Pam's friend Laura Fenton, from Fairbanks made quilts for a tiny teddy & a turtle.

Susie Jelle made this little quilt.

Irene Stewart made this for the white Teddy.

Peg Vos used Helen Frost instructions to make these 2, 9 patch variations.
Peg just joined as a returning member.

Kay Fiaro made 2 small teddy quilts.

Barbara Clinton made this from scraps.
Judy Wedemeyer made this from something she started in a Larken Van Horn class.

Katheryn Boulcher made some small quilts for friends of Teddies.

Kate Beebe showed 3 patches from Disappearing 9 patch,
& a quilt she made.

Marie Fujimura showed a whole bunch of comfort quilts, & teddy quilts from ALCQ stash.

Deb Hardman made this scrapy quilt for her new granddaughter.
