Teddy Bear & Wannabees Tea

Above is the raffle quilt for this year. The top was made & donated by the late Valerie Zins before she moved away. Tickets will start being sold at the Alaska Fiber Festival, & until the ALCQ Quilt Show.

Thursday was the Teddy & Friends Tea. Bears & friends each with their own little quilts were gathered together.

Visitors from different agencies spoke a little bit about who they help in the community & how the quilts & stuffed animals have meant a lot to the children who receive them.

There were over 200 quilts & animals for distribution. I will edit this with actual numbers & names of the organizations if I ever find the notes I took!

We had a lot of fun.

The tea & cookies were great.

Some of us thought we should wear our hats, since it was a "Tea Party".
